My skins_bigbang fic is up to just over 3k!  Woop!  I guess that's nothing to be too excited about, since 7k is the recommended word count for last week's check-in. XD  A bunch of people are already done with one or two stories which makes me feel slow, but I'm far from the only one still under 5k so I don't feel too bad.  I need to get as much done as possible ( Read more... )

This is relevant to my interests, so I decided to respond :P

I think priority no. 1 is teaching them the value of re-using and recycling.  We live in such a disposable society, everything comes in plastic bags, three layers of wrapping, it's too easy to treat everything like it's meant to be thrown away.  I'm not talking about, like, "one square ( Read more... )

I went and saw the Wolverine movie last night.  It was pretty good overall, and its better to see it in theatres for the effects I guess, unless you have a super tv, then I'd probably suggest saving your money and renting it.
